Parking is regulated Mon-Friday from 8am-5pm
No overnight parking allowed in any municipal Lot 1am-6am year-round.
No overnight on-street parking during winter season from 1am-6am. (See Resident Parking Tab for exception)
On-street parking:
Many on-street parking spaces are available for free for up to 2 hours unless otherwise stated.
Other Parking Options:
The Reading Train Depot, located on High Street and Lincoln Street, offers plentiful additional parking. The resident permit requirement is regulated only from 6:00am- 9:30am Monday- Friday. After 9:30am anyone can park at the train depot. No parking allowed overnight from 1:00am-6:00am.
Handicap Accessible Parking:
Parking shall be free and without time restriction to any person with a Handicap Placard in any public space in the Downtown Area. Overnight parking from 1am to 6am remains prohibited.
