National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month

Mental health includes emotional, mental, and social well-being. Mental health impacts how a person thinks and feels. It also affects how you act, manage stress, and make choices.

Many people from racial and ethnic minority groups have difficulty getting mental health care. Obstacles for many include a lack of health insurance, less access to treatment, and stigma.

Mental health conditions do not discriminate based on race, color, gender or identity. Anyone can experience the challenges of mental illness regardless of their background.

Dont be afraid to seek the help you need.
